Looking back at 2018

Writing a "looking back" post became an annual ritual. This year is not any different. With the calendar soon switches to 2019, it is always (dis)heartening to reflect on your resolutions and craft out new ones for the next year. 2018 was exciting. This year was filled with two major milestones (no. 1 and 2) of a person's life:

Looking back at 2017

Like they always say - in a blink of an eye, it’s the end of another year, again. It seems just perhaps a couple of months since I painstakingly crafted out my new year resolutions, which by the way, are still 50% incomplete. Time flies when you hit 20. At age 26, I finally get the meaning. I used to dread about going school and how slow time passed from term to term, semester to semester. I would countdown to the next December break every year and hoping the year pass as quickly as possible. You know what? Now I wished the opposite. The grass is always greener on the other side, eh? 

They say time passes even faster when you hit 30, and progressively faster after that. Not complaining, at least I am still alive at this stage and that’s one thing to give thanks for. People, especially Singaporeans, like to complain and that’s because we don’t find reasons to give thanks for. We wah lao and wah biang everything. So, here’s my annual attempt to give thanks for:

December Scribbles

This post is gif-heavy, and when I meant it's heavy, it's really heavy. What am I talking about.

First of all,


So, the festive season has arrived, yet in a blink in an eye. While people from all walks of life are diving into shopping malls to get their last-minute Christmas shopping done and indulging in festive food, some university students  (referring to yours truly) are buried in two-meter-tall examination notes, textbooks, and what's not, and indulging in assignments, from psychopathology to the nooks and crannies of a brain. Nevertheless, December is a month that everyone is waiting for, well simply because..
